Jesus Loves Jordan

For awhile there, (like 7 years) I thought that I would never enjoy church again.  Once I had kids church became a chore.  A place where I couldn't relax cause I was to busy trying to keep the kids quiet and well behaved so they didn't bother anyone else.  I rarely knew what the service was about let alone hear enough of it to catch the gist of it.  The only time church seemed enjoyable was when I seemed to be in the nursury with another mom I knew and we had a chance to visit.  I honestly thought I would never enjoy church again.   Now my oldest is 7 and my youngest is 2 1/2 and most Sundays I get to enjoy the service in peace.  I do take my turn working in the nursury where I get to visit, and I teach kids church when I am scheduled but the rest of the time my kids are happy in their various areas of the church and I can sit and listen and relax.  Another thing that is nice is that we have friends in church now and they don't mind my kids sitting with them.  Sometimes they are more willing to sit quietly for a friend then for me anyway.  This past Sunday the kids choir was leading the singing and Anthany was sitting with Jordan and Martina.  We were singing Jesus Loves Me and everyone around us was getting a kick out of the fact that Anthany was singing Jesus Loves Jordan instead of Jesus Loves Me.  I can't wait to see Jordan as a parent cause as of now he is just a big kid himself.
Yesterday after supper we spent a couple hours walking and exploring in the valley.  I had my boys and my nephew with me and I couldn't believe the 2 little boys made it all the way without being carried.  We walked up through the trees to the ski jump and then back down towards the train bridge.  Before we got to the train bridge we got side tracked by the creek.  We started by just looking and ended up playing there for almost an hour and comming out with 4 pairs of wet and muddy shoes.   They had so much fun and if it was a hotter day they probably would have ended up swimming.
Atley is such a funny kids!  He is going to be so good at learning other langauges cause he is not scared to make mistakes.  He just says the first thing that comes to his mind or what he thinks is right.  Like when he told me he wanted maccaroni pizza instead of peperoni pizza.  Or like when he says, "It's just like wers" instead  of it's just like ours.  Or porn cops instead of corn pops.  Tater top instead of tank top.  they go on and on.  But I think one of my favorites has to be his Helmet and gobbles instead of goggles.
